FoamTrol AF4035 is an oil free, general purpose antifoam/defoamer designed to control foam in water, wastewater and process systems.
FoamTrol AF4035 can be applied to biological wastewater treatment systems to control foam and does not adversely affect the microbiological balance of the system. The product can be used wherever foam is a general nuisance or safety hazard.
FoamTrol AF4035 works to reduce foam thus increasing effective capacity in process vessels.
treatment and feeding requirements
Proper treatment levels for FoamTrol AF4035 depend on many factors, such as severity of the problem and conditions particular to a given installation. The product is to be used in accordance with control procedures VEOLIA engineers recommend for a specific application.
FoamTrol AF4035 should be fed neat (undiluted) directly from the shipping container, or diluted, via inline dilution.
It is recommended to store the product at temperatures above 5°C. At lower temperatures the product viscosity will increase.
If the product has been exposed to temperatures below its freezing point, it can be still be used after thawing.
