description

BioMate MBC781 is an EPA registered, non-oxidizing biocide used to sanitize reverse osmosis (RO) and ultrafiltration (UF) systems and membranes. BioMate MBC781 may be used as a continuous treatment to the feed waters of these systems. A treatment program that includes BioMate MBC781 with other VEOLIA cleaning formulations will result in more effective membrane cleaning and decreased cleaning frequencies.

application

BioMate MBC781 should only be used only for industrial applications. It should never be used in those applications in which membrane system permeate, or products formulated with permeate, could be consumed by or injected into humans or animals.

At neutral pH and ambient temperatures (25C [77F]), BioMate MBC781 exhibits a half-life of approximately 3

months. When necessary, the active ingredients in BioMate MBC781 can be degraded rapidly to form essentially nontoxic products by the addition of sodium bisulfite.

dosing

Typical dosage (added directly to the feedwater) ranges between 1 and 15 ppm (mg/L), depending upon the quality of the feedwater and the severity of the microbial contamination.

Your VEOLIA representative can assist you in determining the optimal on-line dosage for your application.

Note: Do not exceed the EPA maximum dosage limits provided on the packaging label.
