FloGard MS6209 is a mild steel corrosion inhibitor containing zinc and phosphate, specifically designed for use in once through cooling water systems.
typical applications
FloGard MS6209 is a corrosion inhibitor designed for use in once through cooling systems and paper mill supply water systems. FloGard MS6209 may also be used to supplement other corrosion inhibitors and/or deposit control agents to compose a complete treatment programme for open evaporative cooling systems.
treatment and feeding requirements
Proper treatment levels of FloGard MS6209 depend on many factors, such as corrosion potential and conditions particular to a given installation. The product should be used in accordance with control procedures that VEOLIA establishes for a specific application.
The product may be fed directly from the shipping container or storage tank to a point in the cooling system where it will be rapidly mixed with the bulk cooling water.
Equipment recommendations for specific blends are available upon request.
For consistent protection, continuous feed is recommended.
